Purpose + Leadership: Leading Teams to Fulfill the Mission with Purpose
What happens when a leader discovers their calling and actually applies it to their team? This session explores the connection between personal purpose and organizational mission — helping ERG leaders and their members stop performing leadership and start embodying it. Marv walks participants through how to identify their Genius-level Talent and Passion, how to align that with their role, and how to create space for the people around them to do the same. A collective effort centered on Purpose celebrates giftedness and passion with opportunity en route to fulfilling its mission. Purpose-centered leadership isn't a philosophy. It's a practice.
Purpose Coaching: 1:1 Coaching for Intrapersonal & Professional Development
Sometimes a keynote opens the door — coaching is how someone walks through it. Purpose Sessions are Marv's 1:1 offering, built for ERG members who left a session knowing something shifted and want to figure out what to do with it. Each engagement is rooted in the same Purpose framework as Marv's programming: helping the individual move from insight to action, from awareness to application. Ideal as a post-session add-on or a standalone investment in a high-potential member.
The Intentionality Handbook: How to Show Up When Life Gets Heavy
When something happens in the world — a community tragedy, a national news cycle, a moment that hits close to home — ERG members are expected to still come in and do the job. This session addresses that gap directly. Using Intentionality — being deliberate about the way we feel, love, and think about ourselves, our work, and the people we work with — along with the A-GAME framework, ERG members will learn practical tools to outperform adversity without suppressing emotion, so they can show up intrinsically motivated and avoid burnout. This is not a grief session. It is a performance session designed for people who carry a lot.
Implicit Bias Training: Set Your Workplace on F.I.R.E.
Implicit bias training that actually gets people talking, laughing, and learning. Marv's approach skips the heavy, guilt-laden DEI script in favor of everyday examples — the kind of situations people recognize from home, relationships, and daily life. FIRE is the framework: Forgiveness, Intentionality, Radical Curiosity, and Empathy. Members leave with practical tools they can use at work and take home, and a clearer understanding of how bias shows up in ways most training programs never address.
How to Discover Your Calling: Practical Advice for Living a Purpose-Centered Life
Forget the personality assessments — they can't account for all the moments and people that have contributed to your unique design. Marv's signature purpose-centered experience helps participants identify their Genius-level Talent and Passion through lived evidence, not a quiz. Using two deceptively simple questions, Marv walks groups of any size through a guided, dialogue-driven process (with a worksheet) to name what they're good at, what they love, and how to apply both inside the institution they're part of. Attendees leave with clarity — and a free 20-page ebook to continue the work on their own.
The A-GAME: Emotion Processing Method for a Healthier Workplace
Conflict at work is inevitable. What separates high performers isn't the absence of emotion — it's having a process that converts conflict into individual and team growth. The A-GAME (Acknowledge, Accept, Appreciate, Accelerate) is a psychologically backed, four-step method for processing moments and emotions to ensure the workplace is a safe space for humans to be authentic and work together. Grounded in relatable situations and backed by counseling practitioners, the A-GAME gives ERG members a simple and effective tool they can use the next time things get tense — before they react in ways they'll regret.
